Welcome to the Garden of Edo – a new garden design service inspired by the landscapes of Japan. This site will introduce you to the creative skills and technical expertise that I apply to private and commercial gardens.
The name is borrowed from the Edo period of Japanese history (1600-1868) when landscape gardening flourished on the grand scale and was adopted even in the tiny patio gardens of small town houses. Working on proposed, new-build or established property, I offer a complete design service from site survey, design and planning to overseeing construction, installation and planting.
