"With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Three Dimensional Design, Howard Dixon's early career was spent as a designer in the exhibition industry creating displays for private and commercial clients. His preference for working with natural materials was always to the fore and he subsequently studied for a diploma in Garden Design.
A visit to Japan in May 2000 provided an opportunity to study gardens in Osaka, Kyoto and Nara which was the catalyst for him to apply his creative skills to garden design in the Japanese style on his return to the UK."
